That’s a wrap for Green Infrastructure Week 2022 – Thank you for getting involved

A huge thank you to the thousands of varying stakeholders who engaged with the inaugural Green Infrastructure Week which took place this week (25/29 April 2022). The national awareness week campaign reached over 230,000 people across the UK and internationally.

Across the week we played host to 20 live and free-to-attend webinars for the business community working in various aspects of the burgeoning green infrastructure economy, and all helping to tackle the climate crisis. The events featured over 70 prominent guests, speakers, and expert chairs (thank you for sharing your thoughts and expertise). Over 1,500 delegates registered to enjoy 25+ hours of live online exclusive content.

For those who couldn’t make the live events or missed some sessions, you will find the events as On-Demand videos at https://greeninfrastructureweek.com/news-and-opinion/#/on-demand. We are still busy uploading the events from the last day, but we assure you that all events will be available next week.

I want to thank all the official partners who ran events, these are; Anaerobic and Digestion Bioresources Association, Association for Consultancy and Engineering, BEAMA, Carbon Capture & Storage Association, Clean Growth UK, Energy & Bioproducts Research Institute, Environmental Industries Commission, EV Energy Taskforce, Future Leaders, Innovate UK KTN, Nuclear Industry Association, Supergen Bioenergy Hub, Supergen Energy Networks, Supergen Energy Storage Network, UK Research & Innovation, World Hydrogen Leaders, and Zemo Partnership. Plus, thank you to our media partners Infrastructure Intelligence and The House.

We also had the support of three ambassadors who lifted the profile of the inaugural week – thank you Trudy Harrison MP, Greg Clark MP and Mayor Ben Houchen.

Finally. Thank you, AECOM, for being the Principal Sponsor and supporting this inaugural week from the beginning, your faith and behind the scenes support have achieved important things this week.
